Tammy Hinze
Chief Executive Officer and President
Tammy Hinze has 35+ years of healthcare management experience in the private sector. She began her career in the Baylor College of Medicine system and advanced to the level of Director of Physician Practice. Tammy then became the Director of Business Operations for a Texas based Management Services Organization (MSO) which, due in part to her leadership and expertise, grew from a local physician business organization to a national billing, human resources, and accounting services corporation operating in 6 states. She had direct oversight and operational responsibility for 250+ physicians
and a billing support staff of over 80 employees.
In 2008, Tammy jointly created Apex Practice Solutions, Inc., a Texas based MSO where she holds the position of President/CEO. In conjunction with all operational activities for Apex, Tammy also performs consultative services to clients, including physician groups and hospital systems employing providers. She has extensive experience working with Texas 501a not-for-profit medical organizations as well as a strong background and knowledge regarding multiple PM/EMR systems. She excels in organizational leadership, physician practice management, and physician office RCM services. Tammy has delivered Practice Management and System Implementation Services to physician groups for a variety of specialties in multiple states, providing insight and direction for enhanced patient experience, improved process flow, and maximized reimbursement.
Tammy and her husband Ronnie have been married 43 years and have 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren. When not working or playing with grandbabies, Tammy enjoys decorating and refinishing furniture, and appreciating the beauty of the Texas coast where she lives.

Michelle Service, CPB
Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations
Michelle Service has 20+ years of healthcare management experience in the private sector. She began her career working for Blue Cross/Blue Shield entering and processing hospital and provider claims then moved to a leadership role in the customer service call department processing and adjudicating claims. Michelle was then recruited to work as a billing supervisor for a Texas-based Management Services Organization (MSO) with oversight and operational responsibility for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial claims for 100+ physicians and a billing support staff of 20 employees.
In 2008, Michelle jointly created Apex Practice Solutions, Inc., where she serves as Vice President of Operations/COO. Michelle oversees all Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) as well as provides consultative services to clients including physician groups and hospital systems employing providers. She has extensive experience in the management of physician office billing/RCM along with broad knowledge of billing rules and policies in multiple states. Additionally, Michelle is well versed in a number of PM/EMR systems and has provided training and support to front office staff as well as billing/RCM personnel. She has delivered insight and direction to clinic practices, and medical facilities throughout multiple states while ensuring a high level of compliance and integrity in the billing process. Michelle obtained certification through AAPC in October 2019 as a Certified Professional Biller, adding to her expertise.
When not traveling Michelle enjoys spending family time with her husband of 24 years, Scott, their 3 children, and daughter-in-law.

Pam Clay possesses 18 years of experience in the medical field and over 20 years in the financial banking industries.
She commenced her medical career by managing collections and supervising billing and front office personnel for a Family Practice residency program.
In 2003, Pam transitioned to the of Business Office Manager at a Management Services Organization, where she was responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring acceptable accounts receivable results for multiple providers across Texas and Arkansas.
Since joining Apex Practice, Inc. in 2010 as Accounts Receivable Manager, she has effectively managed Revenue Cycle Management for multi-specialty providers, promoting collaboration and support among and their office staff.
Kristie Taylor is a powerhouse in the medical field, boasting over 23 years of dynamic experience!
She kicked off her career in roles like Medical Records Clerk, CNA, Medical Assistant, and EMT, before making an exciting shift in 2010 to focus on billing and collections.
Since then, Kristie has soared as a Team Lead in a Managed Service Organization, expertly managing billing for numerous multi-specialty clinics across the US.
Joining Apex Practice Solutions, Inc. in August 2015, she now thrives as a Revenue Cycle Manager, leading a talented team to tackle Accounts Receivable for multiple clients.
With her AAPC certification as a Certified Professional Biller earned in 2019, Kristie's extensive knowledge of billing rules and policies across various states and specialties truly sets her apart!
Robin Barnett
Credentialing Specialist
Robin Barnett is a dedicated Credentialing Specialist at Apex Practice Solutions, Inc., bringing over years of expertise in provider credentialing since joining team in 2017.
She excels in Provider Enrollment, Medicare Medicaid Credentialing, and maintaining CAQH profiles, ensuring all necessary requirements are met for each payor.
Robin is known her exceptional organizational management skills, providing clear status reporting to keep providers and clients informed throughout the.

Linda Martin
Director of Human Resources
Linda Martin possesses more than 20 years of extensive experience in the medical field. She commenced her career as a medical biller in a nephrologist's office and subsequently advanced to a role within a Texas-based Management Service Organization, where she supervised a team of 10 Billing Assistants supporting 250 physicians.
In 2010, she transitioned to Apex Practice Solutions as the Human Resources Manager, where she is responsible for the processes and managing employee benefits for a workforce of over 190 staff members.
Additionally, dedicates her time to educating supervisors and managers on effectively addressing staff-related issues.
Angel Callaway
CPC, CPMA, CPB, CCC
Coding Manager
Angel Callaway has devoted over 35 years to the medical. She began her career as an LVN, spending 23 in that role before moving into medical billing in 2010.
In 2013, Angel became part of the billing team at Practice Solutions, Inc., where she utilizes her expertise in Revenue Cycle Management to assist a diverse range of clients.
She obtained her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification in November 2014 and later earned her Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification in October 2019; she is also ICD-10 certified and a Certified Professional Medical Auditor. In 2025 Angel earned her Certified Cardiology Coder certification.
Passionate about education, Angel works closely with and staff to improve reimbursement through accurate and compliant coding that aligns with the services provided.
She has played a significant role in founding the AAPC Chapter Victoria, TX, where she held the positions of President and Secretary Her exceptional combination of skills in accounts receivable collections, billing, and coding certifications has been invaluable to our teams and the clients she supports.
Leslie Inskeep, RHIA, M.Ed.
Support Services, Training Manager.
Leslie Inskeep brings over 25 years of combined experience in medical administration and education, with a proven track record of leading teams to excellence. She began her career as a medical billing and coding contractor before transitioning into education as an instructor and program director, where she shaped programs and mentored future professionals.
In 2014, Leslie earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management and obtained her RHIA certification through AHIMA in 2015. She further advanced her expertise by completing a master’s degree in Education with a focus on Adult Education and Training in 2018.
Since joining Apex Practice Solutions in October 2023, Leslie has taken a pivotal leadership role, driving strategic initiatives in training development, medical records management, and project management.
She champions quality measures aligned with MGMA standards for medical claim processing and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Under her direction, the Apex Practice Solutions team has consistently achieved outstanding performance, maintaining EDI error rates below 4%—a testament to her commitment to operational excellence and team success.
